We got the latest durable goods orders data this morning.

And while the numbers showed a monthly drop, the decline was much less than expected.

This could indicate the economy is performing better than expected.

We also got the new consumer confidence data, which also showed a decline – but also declined less than expected.

All in, it’s pretty good news.
